Description: Eleni Chakalos and the Hellenic Dancers of NJ were featured in the folk arts exhibit, Culture in Context at the NJ State Museum. The exhibit focused on traditional folk arts currently practiced in New Jersey. Mrs. Chakalos was featured for her skills in creating traditional Greek embroidery, as well as for founding the Hellenic Dancers of NJ. Although the exhibit closed January 11, 2009, the information is still available here.

Since its 1968 concert debut at Town Hall, the Chorale has performed at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and other major concert halls in the U.S.
