Our History | Our Past Performances
The Hellenic Dancers of NJ construct artistically and traditionally accurate performances of the regional folk dances of Greece to be presented to the American public throughout the year. Each presentation highlights the various regions and customs of Greece through the 300 plus dance repertoire. This outstanding troupe is nationally recognized for their presentation of Greek traditions; appreciative audiences have at times exceeded 34,000 persons. Their performances have been by special invitation only and include the following civic, cultural, philanthropic, academic and social affairs:

- 2003 & 2005 Kids Helping Kids Smile - Benefit for the Smile Train
- 2004 banquet honoring Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew upon his first official visit to New Jersey
- Greek Heritage Day with the Metrostars - Kickoff to the Olympic Games
- Sent dancers for the Closing Ceremonies of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece
- Centennial Epiphany Celebrations, Tarpon Springs, Florida
- Participated in the Mario Frangoulis "Sometimes I Dream" concert special for PBS
as well as many other Greek and culturally diverse festivals and special programs.
